What are the characteristics of sports camps?

Many of you ask us about what are the characteristics of sports camps in relation to equestrian camps?
On the example of our offer of Sports Camps in the summer of 2010, below, we have listed the most important elements that distinguish sports camps (of which there are relatively few at a high level) from equestrian camps (of which there are countless
numbers).

* Coaches of the highest class PZJ trainers, who themselves and their pupils have masterful sports achievements * Training Improving dressage technique and learning to ride on real parkers * Horses Carefully
selected, with a sporty profile, which train and start intensively throughout the year – not only in the season * Selection of a horse for a rider It usually takes place before
grouping, which causes the
lack of unpleasant surprises
* Preparation from exams for PZJ badges Training

Own horse or club horse?

Many people wonder if having your own horse is a prerequisite for practicing a small sport (up to and including the level of regional competitions)?
In high equestrian sport, having a horse (and in the case of top-class competitors – several horses) is a prerequisite for the highest achievements.
Despite this, the player very often does not own them.
Having a horse

and developing skills The factors determining the development of riding skills are the right trainer, the rider's predispositions and motivation, training conditions and a properly selected horse. At the same time, we must always remember to follow all safety-related procedures that are aimed at reducing accidents.
At the School Equestrian Club "Poland Park" we perfectly understand these dependencies, which is why we attach great importance to the proper harmony of all factors affecting the development of the rider's
skills. We have managed to create a top-class coaching team that guarantees teaching at all levels.
Our experience shows that especially in the case of children and adolescents, a good alternative to your own horse is a club
horse.

Costs

Many people are not aware of the costs and responsibilities associated with maintaining their own horse. Often, purchase decisions are made under the influence of emotions, which especially in the case of buying a horse for a child play a special role.
The cost of monthly maintenance of a horse (boarding house, provision of service, equipment, feed additives, insurance, loss of value of the horse, blacksmith, veterinary services) is about PLN 2,000 per month in the Warsaw
agglomeration. To this should be added the cost of sports training in the amount of about PLN 1,000 per month.
The total cost of owning a horse means an expense of about PLN 3,000 per month, with 2/3 of this amount being fixed costs, regardless of the number of rides.

Counting further, the cost of one training (assuming 20 workouts per month) is a real expense of PLN 150.
Conclusions

In conclusion, having your own horse is not a prerequisite for practicing a small sport. Own horse is justified only when we ride, at least 4-5 times a week. In any other case, we should consider using a club horse as part of membership in an equestrian club.
